Equipment is checked for evidence for wear and tear.

Carry out appropriate harvesting procedures:
Appropriate harvesting methods is identify:

Chemical game capture:  When chemicals is used to dart the animals that needs to be captured. A veterinarian must be present to do the darting.  When the animal is sedated it is then loaded onto a truk and transported to it's destination.

Passive game capture: When bomas is put up with food inside the boma with a few entrances, the boma is usually left like this for a few days for the animals to get used to it.  People are put on posts to watch the entrance and as soon as the animal inside the entrance is closed by a curtain.  The animals is then chased up a loading ramp into the loading truck.

Active game capture: A boma is put up in a V-shape with one entrance, the animals is chased by a helicopter into the boma.  The boma is divided into sections and as soon as the animals past each section the pilot signals the people on the ground to close the curtains of that section.  The animals is then chased into the loading truck.
