Safety at Work

Hazard contols:
In order to maintain a safe working environment and a pleasant dining experience one should be on the constant lookout for hazards that could lead to guests, staff or others injuring themselves whilst in your care.
Accidents:
It is human nature to start panicking as soon as we witness an accident and have to assist the injured. Ensure that you keep calm and.
1.   Notify and authorized first aid person
2.   Telephone the appropriate emergancy services if the person required medical assistance
3.   Reassure the injured until help arrives
4.   Report the incident to your respective supervisor who will in turn report the matter to the required authorities
5.   Record all the events in the accident report book for future reference

  1. Thank you for these practical tips. There should be OSHA posters at work areas so that the workers can be aware of the safety rules in the vicinity.
